Large ca. 500-page 18th-century ledger can be a great gift for your friends, colleagues, or to yourself!
Unfortunately, it previously had some records that were removed by one of the previous owners. In some places, parts of the pages are cut out. In other, pages are torn out or cut away. Originally, ca. 600 pages.
Besides that, it's a beautiful blank ledger ready to be used by its new owner!
Some signs of wear on the cover (please see the photos). Endbands remain but are detached from the book block. Marbled endpapers, decorated red-tinted edges, vellum binding.

This laid paper is the gem of this ledger.
The Taylors were an 18th-century papermaking family based in and around Kent, England. Clement Taylor died in 1776 having worked Poll Mill, just upriver from Turkey Mill and Basted Mill where he apprenticed his sons John, James, George, and Clement (jr).
