These two large ca. 550-page 18th-century ledgers can be a great gift for your friends, colleagues, or yourself!

Ledgers are blank, with the exception of a letter pasted in at the beginning of the first ledger. Signs of wear on the cover (please see the photos). One of the ledgers is in slightly better condition (1st ledger) than the other (2nd ledger).
Half-bound in leather with marbled paper on covers. Binding on cords. Edges decorated with sprinkled red pigment.
Rubricator: 12 sheets (24 pages) of J Whatman laid paper
Main book block: approximately 135 sheets of handmade laid paper (540 pages)
The first ledger contains a pasted-in letter dated "March 5th, 1767." Watermarks on the Whatman paper correspond to that period (fleur de lis and monogram.)
