A simple and smart corner cutting jig for bookbinders allows you to cut the corner of the turn-in material exactly where you want it to be.
This corner cutting tool has an angled wall that allows you to cut the material at an angle of 45° -- that may be useful if you are working with leather or other materials which are thicker than paper and bookbinding cloth. Angled cut allows you to overlap the material on the insides of covers in a way that makes seams flat and less visible.
You may order any base thickness and any wall thickness from 1/16" to 1/4" (1 mm to 7 mm).
The default size is 2 mm. Please check the third image for an illustration.
The length of the longest side is about 9 cm (3 5/8").
Mark II version of the tool has the size imprinted in a contrast color for better visibility.
