This a mashup of our most popular corner cutting tools and a straightedge.
The tool allows to miter turn-ins at a distance of 1.5 mm, 2 mm, or 3 mm from the tip of the cover's corner. It also may be used as a straightedge for cutting the excess material of turn-ins and other parts of the book.
There are two versions of the tool: without a wall and with a wall.
The version with a wall allows for a bit more protection while cutting. However, we should mention that as the tool is 3d-printed with plastic, it can be cut with a sharp knife if handled improperly.
The version without a wall still has bridges over the inner corners, so it's not perfectly flat. Otherwise, it becomes too brittle.
Mark II version of the tool has the size imprinted in a contrast color for better visibility.
Width: 2 cm / 2.5 cm / 3 cm
Length: 27 cm
Heigh (no wall)t: 3 mm (4.5 mm with "bridges")
Height (with wall): 9 mm
